Through the grace and tender-mercies of our Lord and the prayers and blessings of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, 118th Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St.Mark, and our beloved father His Grace Bishop Mina, Bishop of the Diocese of Mississauga, Vancouver and Western Canada, we are pleased to announce the initiation of Saint George and Saint Paul the Anchorite Coptic Orthodox Monastery in Alberta, Canada.
St.George and St.Paul Coptic Orthodox Monastery will be located on Range Road 263, south of Highway 11 in Red Deer County, Alberta. The land on which the monastery will be built is approximately 144.65 acres. The total price of the land is $1.08 million and a down payment of $580,000 is required in order to finalize the deal.
